What to Teach in Algebra 2

If you work at a school where you have autonomy about what to teach in Algebra 2, then you might be interested in the Algebra 2 pacing guide below.

HOW LONG ARE THE CLASS PERIODS

Before we get to pacing, you should know that classes at my school met for 65 minutes and we were on a 7-period rotating schedule. Sometimes a class met 3 times a week, sometimes 4; it depended on the week.

I taught Algebra 2 at a private school from 2012 to 2017. I also taught Algebra 2 at other schools from 1998 to 2007.

I have a growing bundle that you might be interested in here: Algebra 2 Slow Growing Bundle.

Or here: Algebra 2 and Precalculus JOINT Slow Growing Bundle

You might also be interested in what I teach in Precalculus or what I teach in my non-AP Calculus class.

TEXTBOOK

The textbook we used was Glencoe Algebra 2 © 2014, McGraw Hill.
